Prospect Academy FC is a community based and family-oriented club serving the Red Bay, Prospect, and Savannah areas of Grand Cayman. From the very beginning, our club has maintained a close relationship with the area’s primary schools and has at its foundation a belief in the development of well-rounded youth that marries academic diligence, mental and physical fitness, and civic integrity.

We envision a club which cultivates players beyond the field to become well-rounded and community-minded citizens. Given the challenges facing our islands today, we know our players will eventually be called upon to lead in a variety of ways. If we are to best prepare them to meet these challenges, we must inspire them by exemplifying teamwork, discipline, accountability, respect, and compassion.

Founded by former CIFA General Secretary and Vice President, Mr. Bruce Blake, our leadership understands that we must conduct the business of the club with world class levels of transparency and good governance. We are committed to upholding best-in-class standards for the club’s management and exceeding those standards set by CIFA, CONCACAF, and FIFA. As part of that mission, we take our role as a member of the wider football fraternity seriously and encourage active participation at the national association level and beyond.

Coming full circle, this aspirational vision requires us to build a club with families and young people at its core, and without artificial barriers to participation such as mandatory registration fees.
